The Yatsugatake area is a place where the altitude is high and the air is dry, so there is little water in the atmosphere, and it is unlikely that star "spirit" will occur. In particular, the southern foot of Yatsugatake has very little light pollution and is known as one of Japan's leading observation sites with outstanding brightness of stars.

How to find meteor showers
The Gemini meteor shower is one of the three major meteor showers that reach its maximum in mid-December every year. The feature is that a large number of shooting stars can be observed stably. At peak times, more than 50 to 100 meteors appear per hour, and even beginners of starry sky observation have plenty of opportunities to be impressed by "Oh, it has flowed!"
The maximum forecast date for 2025 is December 14-15. You can enjoy the appearance of meteors running through the clear night sky with little influence of the moonlight.
Let's find "Gemini" with a radiation point.
1) First, look for “Orion” (“Three Stars” are marked). On the left is "Gemini".
2) "Winter Omitsu corner" is also a landmark (Petergius Procyon Sirius) on the left side.
3) Even if you don't know the radiation point, you don't have to worry. Let's look at the entire sky around the radiation point.
