The National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ) Nobeyama Radiowave observatory is a world-class research facility and is also known as a sacred place for radio astronomy in Japan. It is open for the general public and can be visited for free without reservation. There is also the world's largest 45-meter radio telescope, a telescope that receives radio waves called millimeter waves, and you can see a huge telescope up close.
