Utsukushimori Observation Deck
Mt. Utsukushimori is a small hill at an altitude of 1542 meters, formed by isolated part of the Higashio root of Akadake (2,899m). At the foot, there is a free parking lot and a tourist information center (lower), and you can hike easily about 15 minutes on foot to the summit.
From early June to mid-June, it is a famous spot where a cluster of lotus azaleas bloom. From the observatory, you can enjoy a large panorama of the mountains of Kiyosato Kogen and the Southern Alps, and you can enjoy the seasonal scenery.
