Program introduction

In Grand Mercure Yatsugatake Resort & Spa, there is Tomofumi Yamada, a hotel staff member who is qualified as a "starry sky guide".

The rooftop observation deck will be chartered, and Mr. Yamada will guide you to a special starry sky viewing. It is a location where you can fully enjoy the size of the sky without 360° obstruction, and the starry sky looking up while lying on the deck chair is exceptional. You can decide on one of the stars you are interested in and enjoy watching the stars with a telescope while reading Mr. Yamada's commentary alone. Surrounded by the stars of Yatsugatake, one of Japan's three major starry sky spots, you can spend a special time with your loved ones along with seasonal hot drinks.

・22:00 7th floor Elevator Hall Deck Chair for a relaxing time

・22:15 Watch the starry sky at the observation deck

・22:30 Observation of Stars with astronomical telescope

・Meeting place: In front of the elevator hall on the 7th floor

・Location: Rooftop observation deck

・Number of people: 2 to 8 people (limited to 1 group per day)

・ It may not be possible depending on the weather.

・Please come in a warm look to get cold in the middle of the night.

・Cancellation fee: Free for the day before! 100% on the day​
