Cherry blossoms at Tando Castle Park
Tando Castle is also a nationally designated archeological site that is said to have been built by Kiyomitsu Kuro Genta, the ancestor of Takeda at the end of the Heian period.
In spring, about 400 Yoshino cherry trees and double cherry blossoms bloom at different times throughout the mountain, and you are overwhelmed by the stunning scenery.
There is a promenade that goes around the outer garden, and the panorama of Yatsugatake, Mount Fuji, and Kaikomagatake seen from among the trees is superb.
It became a nationally designated historic site in 1993, maintenance of historic sites is being promoted, and Kuo and earthworks are being restored as before, and the appearance of the existing days is being revived.
